Certified Training

Kernel's Certified Training offers a tiered and tailored pathway for educators keen on integrating digital humanities into their research and teaching.

Seed is an introduction to the basics of digital technology, including Python coding and creative uses of cultural data. The Core tier builds on this foundation with a balanced mix of theory and practical methods, including a deep dive into canonical digital humanities studies and curriculum design. Advanced learners may explore Bloom (currently under development) and explore cutting-edge methods, as well as the latest scholarship for promoting innovative projects. Reboot provides Bloom graduates with a crucial update on skills and debates.

Kernel's Certified Training is based on the synthesis of materials developed and tested in leading institutions worldwide, including Harvard, UCLA, the University of Copenhagen, Seoul National University, and the University of Hong Kong.
